《牙買加 藍山 琥珀莊園 Jamaica Blue Mountain Amber Estate No. 1》

 

成立於2003年的牙買加金杯 Gold Cup,為Charles Lyn博士與法定藍山產區數名農民團隊共同合作的公司。

 

為確保最佳品質及品質控管,Gold Cup投入大量的成本在咖啡的後製處理上,諸如透過新設的去果皮設備等後製硬體設備的更新,並且於生豆處理、乾燥、烘焙測樣等階段皆做好管控。其亦是知名的BMCP處理廠最大的股東,採收自St. Thomas及St. Andrew高海拔區塊完全熟成的紅果,送至附屬於公司的濕式處理廠,處理的第一階段依然預先汰除浮豆,接著進入Blue Mountain Coffee Processors LTD 處理廠進行後續100%曝曬乾燥,汰選之後靜置約8週,並再次生豆大小、密度、色澤、豆貌等進行分級,最後再杯測確認咖啡風味品質。所有程序同時在牙買加農業管理局(JACRA)的指導和控管下完成,所有No.1規格均需嚴格依照依牙買家國內生豆最高標準等級執行。生豆品質特別體現在其旗艦品牌「琥珀莊園 Amber Estate」。

 

Gold Cup 旗下目前有「琥珀莊園 Amber Estate」及來自 Blue Mountain Coffee Processors LTD 處理廠的「BMCP」等兩個品牌,而其中獨立的 Amber Estate便是其頂級的旗艦品牌,咖啡櫻桃百分百採收自海拔高约1150~1580公尺的 Abbey Green與 Mount Lebanon莊園,並嚴選由 Blue Mountain Coffee Processors處理廠所分級出來的最高品質生豆。

Orange, cream, maple syrup, citrus acidity, delicate and sticky body. The soft roasted nuts are mixed with the sweetness of molasses and the smoothness of cream. The overall taste is very full, and the finish is sweet and long, very smooth!

 

Gold Cup, founded in 2003, is a company co-operated by Dr. Charles Lyn and a team of several farmers in the legal Blue Mountain production area.

In order to ensure the best quality and quality control, Gold Cup invests a lot of money in the post-processing of coffee, and controls all stages of green bean processing, drying, roasting and testing. Fully mature red fruits collected from the high-altitude blocks of St. Thomas and St. Andrew are sent to the wet processing plant affiliated with the company. The floating beans are still eliminated in the first stage of processing, and then enter the Blue Mountain Coffee Processors LTD processing plant for subsequent 100% exposure and drying. After selection, they are left to stand for about 8 weeks, and the size, density, color, appearance, etc. of the green beans are graded again. Finally, cupping is performed to confirm the coffee flavor quality. All procedures are completed under the guidance and control of the Jamaica Agricultural Regulatory Authority (JACRA), and all No. 1 specifications must be strictly implemented in accordance with the highest standards for domestic beans from Jamaican buyers. The quality of green beans is particularly reflected in its flagship brand "Amber Estate".
